  2. Perhaps we should get serious about it and stop burning oil for energy, we could do it fast the tech is here.

    Maybe if we stop burning oil nature could help us out. Lets give it a try. End the billions in oil subsites and use that money for the betterment of our atmosphere.

  3.  it’s always been a scam. No one is going to vacuum billions of tonnes of CO2 out of the atmosphere.

  4. This was always the case. This entire industry is a scam. The efficiency gains required to make a difference is simply beyond the realistic scalability it would require.

  5. More and more, day by day, it becomes clearer that the US SCOTUS decision to stop the 2000 election recount and hand the presidency to GWB was one of the most consequential events for this planet in modern history.

  7. Capitalism is not going to solve climate change & literally any scientist would have told you this 30 years ago let alone now. 

  8. We need both, stop oil consumption and reduce emissions to zero as well as carbon capture to bring the climate back to pre industrial levels

  9. Carbon dioxide removal is stupid anyway. All it’s doing is putting it in a highly pressurized container. And god forbid it explodes.

  10. Just irrelevant as long as we’re still un-sequestering millions of tons of oil, gas and coal every day.
