OMG: Republican DESTROYS her career with INSANE video

Just when you thought that Republican Senator Joanie Ern’s bad week couldn’t get any worse, she opted to double down on her latest scandal. So, first, here’s her town hall moment that made news for all the wrong reasons. And next, I’m going to show you today’s update. So, when we are talking about the corrections in this reconciliation bill, again, it’s corrections of overpayments and people that have not been eligible for these programs by law as it is currently written. So when you are arguing when you are arguing about illegals that are receiving Medicaid benefits 1.4 million 1.4 they’re not they are not eligible so they will be coming off so we people are not well we all are going to die so for heaven’s sakes for heaven’s sakes folks. So, you would think that telling your constituents we’re all going to die maybe isn’t great politics, but even that is better politics than this. Hello everyone. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize for a statement that I made yesterday at my town hall. Um, see, I was in the process of answering a question that had been asked by an audience member when a woman who was extremely distraught screamed out from the back corner of the auditorium, “People are going to die.” And I made an incorrect assumption that everyone in the auditorium understood that yes, we are all going to perish from this earth. So I apologize and I’m really really glad that I did not have to bring up the subject of the tooth fairy as well. But for those that would like to see eternal and everlasting life, I encourage you to embrace my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So to summarize here, Joanie Ernst held a town hall where she defended her party’s deep cuts to healthcare. One of her constituents worried that that move would result in people dying because when you cut healthcare from 13.7 million people, well, people die. Ern’s response was to laugh it off because after all, we’re going to die one day, so what’s the big deal if a few people die sooner? And she was rightfully rad over the coals for that response. That would make Marie Antuinette blush. And so her response here was to pick up her phone and double down and pretend that her constituents don’t understand human mortality. So if you rely on Medicaid for food assistance to survive, Joanie Ernst is here to let you know that we’re all going to die anyway. So, you don’t really have a leg to stand on by whining that you might just die sooner. And I have to wonder, if Joanie had a family member who was sick and relied on Medicaid for medication or hospital care, and it was gutted, do you think she would be placated by being lectured about our impending mortality? Do you think she’d be cool if we took the opportunity to, oh, I don’t know, proitize about Jesus Christ? And speaking of Jesus, does anybody want to remind me where he stood on the issue of the rich getting into the kingdom of heaven? As Joanie Ernst shills for a bill that would strip healthcare away from 14 million Americans to pay for a tax cut for the wealthiest. In fact, I spoke with Texas State Representative James Telerico about this very concept of Republicans perverting the tenants of Christianity to give themselves cover to pass decidedly anti-Christian laws like this budget bill. Here’s what he had to say. Right now, we’re seeing uh national Republicans uh gut Medicaid, gut food assistance programs so that they can offset uh a a tax cut for the wealthiest Americans where where we’ll see after tax income rise according this is according to the Pen Wharton analysis after tax income rise for the top uh onetenth of 1% of Americans by something like $389,000 whereas the after tax income actually decreases by $700 to $1,000 for the poorest Americans. And so, you know, we’re seeing this at the federal level and also the state level. And and that’s what makes the Christian nationalist movement even more ironic um or hypocritical because there is nothing more uncchristian than stealing from the poor to give to the rich. Um you know, the Christians in Congress should be feeding the hungry, but they’re cutting food stamps. They should be healing the sick, but they are cutting Medicaid. Uh, you know, they should be uh, you know, standing up to the billionaire class, but instead they’re cutting their taxes. So, this this movement has no basis in the teachings of Jesus or in any of the major world religions. There is no major faith tradition around the world that says when someone gets sick, you see how much money you can make off of them, right? There is remarkable consistency and overlap between the major world religions about how to treat our neighbors, how to treat the needy and the vulnerable. And so the the current Republican majority both here in Texas and in Washington are have have gone far astray from the teachings of our faith. So my message to Christians out there is to push back on this gross perversion of your religion at the hands of greedy, gluttonous Republican officials like Joanie Ernst who wrap themselves in the word of God to give themselves cover to act in a way that is completely antithetical to God’s teachings. I also spoke with Congressman Daniel Goldman about this moment with Joanie Ernst. Here’s what he had to say. That should be the Republican mantra. That’s effectively what they they believe. They don’t think that our safety net programs uh are worthwhile. They think tax cuts for billionaires are far more important than making sure children can eat. That’s where their priorities lie. That’s what this reconciliation bill did. And in combination, as you point out, with the tariff tax, which is just going to increase prices, it’s going to increase inflation, and so many more millions of Americans not getting health care, not getting food assistance, it is going to result in people dying because of Republican policies. And you see how much they care from Joanie Ernst, which is not at all because we’re all going to die. So, who cares if you die sooner rather than later? Uh, you aren’t worthy of being in this country and seeking the American dream. And that in combination with this immigration policy, which is basically just a xenophobic attack on foreigners, uh, that’s who the Republican party is today. It is uh people who no longer believe that the American dream exists. No longer believe that we are a country of immigrants where people come for freedom, for liberty, to pursue the American dream. That’s not what they’re looking for. They are just looking to give the halves even more and to try to go back to the 1950s in where the world of white supremacy and and that’s the Republican party. What she just said encapsulates how the Republican party acts. She just said it out loud. Most of them don’t, but their actions fully support what she just said. So, look, the reality is that every so often, Republicans will let slip a sentence that betrays exactly who they are and where they stand. Joanie Ern’s condescending double down is just a desperate attempt to play the Trump playbook of never admitting fault. But don’t be fooled. She knows that no amount of fake bravado is going to hide the fact that this was a massive She gave the people of Iowa and the United States a glimpse into her thought process. She doesn’t care if you live or die because at the end of the day, we’re all going to die anyway, so who cares if you die sooner. You think a person like that is going to fight for you, for your health care, for food assistance, for higher wages. Me neither. And remember, Erns is up for re-election in November of 2026. I understand that Iowa is a red state, but survival happens to be nonpartisan. I happen to think that even Republicans out there tend to want to live and aren’t just casually submitting to the Joanie Ernst brand of fatalism. So, if you want someone who may certainly understand that all people die, but who will fight to make sure that it’s not anytime soon, then make sure that you and everyone you know in Iowa is prepared to vote Jonie Ernst out of office come next

  1. Us Iowan's are getting tired of all this plus we have a thief as a governor who stole covid money to pay her staff over time and is not paying it back plus senators who don't care about the people either they bend knee to cheetto head

  2. Joni Ernst a great example of how to end your political career in one sentence.

We are all going to die just like her policial career.

Joni better start polishing that resume of hers

  3. That was cuntrite in the manner of the trump troglodytes. That she would then invite people to her belief in her lord and savior,Jesus Christ, makes me want to puke blood. The fact that she doubled down on the snark lets me know that she fully expects that she will score points with her true lord, the antichrist, donald trump.

  4. I still remember the video you did when she didn’t know the price of corn or soybeans in her state. And Iowans still voted for her. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I guess this is what they want over there.

  5. When will these cult members wake up and realize these Republicans are insane and don't care about them and only wants their blind votes.

  6. I saw this shitty behavior/belief from "believers" …which is one of many reasons I walked away from bible religion years ago! Maybe she needs to give all she has to the poor, as her supposed 'Lard & savior" says in the New Testament?!

  7. Remember when Sarah Palin falsely claimed Obamacare would mean there would be death panels deciding who would live and who would die? Well, today's GOP is a death panel, and Joni Ernst admitted it.

  8. No self awareness at all. She's accusing people of believing in the Tooth Fairy – then admits to believing in an imaginary sky-friend.

  9. This ghoul should remind herself that Iowa is purple and hasn't always had 2 Republican Senators. Old man Grassley has been there since 1981, but the other seat was blue for 30 years before her.

  10. And now Brian, you know why I chose the name "Navelgutted" – because this false version of Christianity guts me and guts us all.
