The driving skills of the Norwegian Police during an insane high-speed chase

  1. That is a moped, not a motorcycle, and mopeds in Norway have a legal top speed of 45km/h (roughly 30mph).

    Edit:
People *can* modify their mopeds to remove the speed limiter, allowing them to drive faster.
But judging from the video clip on DB, and how fast the objects and environment passed by during the chase, I highly doubt that these two criminals had modified their moped.
Or, if they did modify their moped, then they were not driving anywhere close to 70km/h, much less 90km/h, and certainly not 100+km/h.

  2. Living for the fact they just kinda knocked over the mo-ped. That’s top tier entertainment. Can they get away with that in Norway? Here in the US it would be a ridiculous lawsuit even if nobody got hurt

  3. Completely insane driving risking lives of the suspects but more importantly innocent bystanders just for some fucking jewelry. Police officer should be fired.

  4. This comment section makes me lose faith in humanity..

Let the armed robbers go? Are you fucking insane? Glad those officers ran them off the road and threw them in the slammer

  5. Would people still feel the same way about this if the police had actually ran someone over? What if someone didn’t get out of the way fast enough?

  6. Am I the only one who thinks that this kind of chase happening in Norway is way more impressive than the officer’s driving skill? I mean, this isn’t something that happens very often here, and this certainly isn’t something one would expect to see happening here.

When I first saw the video a few months ago I thought it was somewhere else and the person was mistakenly thinking this was in Norway, until I confirmed it was indeed Norway lol

  7. I’m wondering what the “Stop talking!” was aimed at towards the end there. No one is talking when he said it..

Not that I blame him for lashing out while trying to concentrate, that was a really intense situation

edit: Seems there’s some radio audio that’s been cut from the video

  8. As someone who walked over that bridge dialyse for over 20 years I can attest that there’s not a lot of room for a van on it.
