How long does this stay up?
When will Political Leaders react to school shootings as a horrifying terror attack?
[The incident:](https://m.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-856248)
>On Sunday afternoon, a man threw Molotov cocktails at participants of a weekly walking group that raises awareness for the hostages in Hamas captivity
>Local police reported that six people were burned. The injuries range “from very serious to more minor,” Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn said, according to Reuters.
>One eyewitness said that one woman was so badly burned that she had to roll on the ground to put the fire out. Walla reported that children were among the five injured.
I’ll just say it. Yes, there’s real antisemitism in the Pro-Palestinian movement. Sure, it’s not everyone in the movement, but it’s clear the movement has incited multiple attacks now and needs to do some serious introspection if it wants to be taken seriously and not considered heavily antisemitic. This is what happens when people embrace chants and language reminiscent of terrorists in Gaza, essentially following in the footsteps of Hamas. It’s absolutely the right thing to be flushing this inciting and hateful language out of places like universities since it’s leading to continuous violence.
“Our strategy of laying off intelligence officers in this country, politicizing the remaining LEOs to make President TACO look good, while stirring the rhetorical pot with lots of hate speech is really paying dividends. We will have DHS Secretary Noem address this once she finds an appropriate outfit in Paris.”
Supposedly the suspect is an Egyptian who was on a visa that had expired and should’ve been up for deportation, which made me shake my head in irony.
Y’all ever notice that it’s REALLY hard to take the temperature of any story about Israel/Palestine?
Both of these recent attacks are big warning signs to the Free Palestine movement that they seriously need to start moderating their message, and deplatforming the more extremist voices. This is obvious in intense and upsetting issue for many, but we cannot allow anti-semitism become resurgent on the Left
You can stop pretending to be horrified. We know you only care about people in so far as they vote for you.
No pun intended, this is just adding fuel to the fire. It gives Trump evidence he can use to do even more horrible things. It spreads fear in the Jewish community which will cause more anger that will cause fear in Muslim communities.
Violence fuels violence. Fear creates fear, and if attacks get more frequent, it will destroy both Jewish and Muslim communities. All people have a right to life, Jewish, Palestinians, everyone. The cycle of violence needs to stop.
Good job assholes, gonno give more ammunition to TACO to deport more muslims and other minorities.
For all you out there who marched the streets for the past year & a half screaming, “*GLOBALIZE THE INTIFADA!!*” ✊🏽😠🫵🏽🤨 – I hope you’re paying attention, because *THIS*, and the shooting of Jews dead in the street in Washington DC, is 100% the globalizing of the intifada – this is EXACTLY what you screamed for & advocated for.
Incident itself aside, the fact that every single quote in this article is a twitter response is depressing.
The intifada has been globalized
This may be just pedantry but why is this being referred to as a terror attack and not a hate crime?
It was an Egyptian man here illegally.
Antisemitism is rising and attacks unfortunately seem to becoming more common. The attack on Governor Shapiro’s house, the DC attack and now this. It’s terrible.
It is because Colorado legalised cannabis so people are getting mad and they must make it illegal again /s
I find the comments here are largely, and in bad faith, using this incident as a way to disparage and blame what’s simply a “movement” against genocide. Essentially, this incident is being used to make a nebulous connection to the belief that Israel shouldn’t be committing genocide predominantly held by left-leaning Americans, to antisemitism and violence, which is unfounded, to attack “the left.’ It’s disgusting.
I have yet to meet a single person against Israel’s genocide of Palestinians who is antisemitic and believes in violence against Jewish citizens anywhere. Yet, people here would have you believe instead that’s a core sentiment of the “Pro-Palestine” left, which is a bad faith term to begin with used to misrepresent the actual belief against the genocide of Palestinians. It’s akin to saying the right at their core hold white supremacist values and are culpable in the many terrorist attacks seen in the last 10 years committed by Nazis and the like. It isn’t remotely true, but that’s what’s being done here, except versus the left.
This whole thread is filled with whataboutery.
Anyone wants to give condolences to the victims or condem the attack?.
What was the attacker’s name again?
