  1. Ffs, I will loose faith in any MS who doesn’t fight for Wales on this. This really is taking the piss.

  2. And people *still* think that Wales has full control over financing devolved policies.

  3. Look forward to getting on the Oxford to Cambridge line, calling between Pontllanffaith, Dolwyddelan, Llandecwyn and Pantyffynnon.

  4. Yet it isn’t tho. That money could go to funding our own railways which are in dire need of funding.

  5. One of the regular clowns/bots/English in this sub was in here recently claiming that this never happens. I bet they’ll be absolutely livid when they see this…

  6. Ah, Cambridge and Oxford. Right next door to Aberystwyth.

  7. Labour not opting for rail devolution when it was offered in 2005 looks like an increasingly short-sighted and downright poor decision by the day…

  8. “England and Wales” because Scotland has full devolution.

  9. England and Wales is such a fucking nonsense category that needs to go. All it does is allow the UK to withhold money from Wales and obfuscate the true situation in Wales.

  10. Oh no, Cardiff and the surrounding region will have missed out on extra funding.

  11. Aka Scotland gets a Barnett consequential but Wales is made to pay again.

  12. Shameful. Honestly, what do Labour think this’ll do to their credibility in Cymru?
