BRAVE Combat Federation is set to make its highly anticipated return to Slovenia on Saturday, June 7, 2025, with BRAVE CF 96 lighting up the iconic Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana. Teaming up once again with local promotion WFC, this event marks BRAVE CF’s fifth visit to Slovenia, following two sold-out shows in 2024 that propelled MMA into the national spotlight.
Headlining this epic card is a Middleweight World Championship bout featuring Erko Jun, the reigning Light Heavyweight Champion from Bosnia and Herzegovina, facing off against Mohammad Fakhreddine, the legendary former two-division titleholder from Lebanon.
Jun, who remains undefeated inside the BRAVE CF SmartCage, has finished all three of his opponents under the promotion’s banner. After capturing the Light Heavyweight belt with a fourth-round TKO over Alexander Wesner at BRAVE CF 88, Jun now sets his sights on a historic goal—becoming just the second simultaneous two-division champion in BRAVE CF history, and doing it again on Slovenian soil.
On the other side stands Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine, a BRAVE CF icon with a 17-5 professional record and the honor of being the first fighter in the organization to hold two titles at once. Fakhreddine never lost the Middleweight belt in the cage, and his recent comeback TKO victory over Abdel Rahmane Driai at BRAVE CF 92 proved he’s back in top form.
The buildup to this matchup began the moment Fakhreddine issued a fiery post-fight challenge:
“I know Erko is looking to become a double-weight champion… but Erko, I’m going to have to spoil the plan for you, brother.”
Jun was quick to accept, igniting anticipation for what is sure to be a historic encounter.
“I accept the challenge,” Jun responded. “Let’s give the fans a fight they’ll never forget.”
With athletes from 11 nations featured on the card, BRAVE CF 96 continues the organization’s “Year of the BRAVE” campaign, which aims to elevate top MMA talent across continents while reinforcing BRAVE CF’s mission of global unity and opportunity in combat sports.
