  1. compare and contrast to the orange hi-viz wearers when they were blocking roads and the police were helping them, only removing them when they started to cost the country actual money

funny that, inconvenience average people and they get police protection, see also the pink boat in London etc, massive police turn out to stop it being removed,, and protesting for something the government is broadly in favour of. compare to when they blocked the Dartford Crossing etc and it starts to hurt big businesses or the Gaza type stuff where its against government policy.

its almost like you have to remember which tier the protest is in

  2. Yeah opposing a country bombing children in a concentration camp is terrorism….. Cool story.

The UK laws are putrid. Someone needs to fix this shit

  3. What they did meets the UK’s definition of terrorism. [https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/prevent-duty-guidance/glossary-of-terms](https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/prevent-duty-guidance/glossary-of-terms)

    >The use or threat of serious violence against a person or serious damage to property where that action is

The vandalism lead to a million pounds in damages, and several people were injured in the attack.

    >designed to influence the government or an international governmental organisation

The intent was to influence the UK’s foreign policy.

    >for the purpose of advancing a political, religious, racial or ideological cause.’

Influencing government policy is fundamentally a political and ideological act.

They may be charged with terrorism because what they did, based on available information, meets the definition of terrorism. They are not victims. Why is it that they believe their cause gives them the right to break the law and then not face the consequences of breaking said law?

  4. Elbit Systems, the company in question, supplies the UK Armed Forces. Armed forces that might be called upon to defend the UK and Europe from the very real threat of Russia.

Basically they are people who care more about Palestine than their own country. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are Tankies, where are their protests about those who’ve died in the war going on in Europe and the hundreds of thousands who have died?

  5. The government will do whatever it takes to defend Netanyahu and Zionism

  6. [End Prevent involvement for Filton18’s Leona Kamio](https://www.cage.ngo/campaigns/end-prevent-involvement-for-filton18-s-leona-kamio)

    >1- Leona was denied money sent in for her canteen based on spurious grounds

    >2- This in turn meant she had no money in her account in order to make phone calls to her family and friends

    >3- This also means she was unable to purchase food items from the canteen which supplements her diet (that the prison does not adequately provide), including vitamins needed for health concerns

    >4- She has also been denied resuming work as a gardner

Number 3 and 4 do tickle me a bit 😂 Imagine going to prison on terrorism charges and expecting vitamin supplements for your diet and to be able to do some gardening! Stephen Yaxley Lennon just did solitary confinement for less and they probably had him eating cardboard fish paste every day!

  7. …because they committed terrorism.

The definition of terrorism, as per the terrorism act, is:

    >The use or threat of serious violence against a person or serious damage to property where that action is:

    >- designed to influence the government or an international governmental organisation or to intimidate the public or a section of the public; and

    >- for the purpose of advancing a political, religious, racial or ideological cause.’

They stole a prison van and ram raided the factory, caused over a million pounds worth of damage and assaulted staff and police with improvised weapons – two officers were hit with a sledgehammer, one requiring hospital treatment. That’s serious violence against people and property, designed to influence the government’s foreign policy, for a political/ideological cause.

  8. Didn’t they beat up some of the people with pick handles? Or was that a different attack
