Belarus’ Culture Minister Ruslan Chernetsky has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus, Permanent Representative to the CIS Statutory Bodies, Timur Zhaxylykov, sb.by reports with reference to the CIS Executive Committee’s press service
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of co-operation between Belarus and Kazakhstan in the fields of culture and art. They noted the high level of bilateral interaction, which is the result of the political will and policy pursued by the two countries’ leadership to strengthen interstate relations.
Mr. Chernetsky and Mr. Zhaxylykov also noted that Belarusian-Kazakh co-operation in culture and the arts is rich and promotes mutual understanding between the two peoples. They considered plans for a number of joint events, including the Kazakh side’s participation in the 34th Slavianski Bazar in Vitebsk International Festival of Arts in July, and the 31st Minsk Listapad International Film Festival in November.
The parties expressed confidence that consistently implementing the agreements would broaden the scope of cultural and humanitarian liaisons between Belarus and Kazakhstan.
