It seems like we are now just overengineering everything. 2 million pounds per roundabout? How much *actual* difference to anybody’s lives? How many more pedestrians and cyclists knocked down by twats in BMWs who instead of having one red light crossing and one layer of traffic to deal with now have 3 layers of traffic to deal with?

I find it hilarious that “woke” is thought of as an insult by the hard of thinking.
I just don’t know why it costs £2m to paint a couple of zebra crossings and a bike lane? Think it’s a good idea

This roundabout is in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. I almost gave my phone cancer going onto the My London website to try and find out where it is.

There is one I drive through in Cambridge every day. The cycle lane is fine, zebra crossing can cause issues. Fortunately its not often used.

I recently overheard a man in Sainsbury’s walk past the self-service checkouts, loudly declaring: ‘no I don’t think I’ll use the WOKE CHECKOUTS today.’
None of this rubbish surprises me anymore.

So, building a roundabout with bike and pedestrian lanes is woke for these guys. A roundabout that separates bikes and pedestrians from the cars, thus keeping them safe and allowing the cars to move faster. Owning the libs blinds them from seeing the benefits. I wish we had a word for that already.
