ATLANTA, Ga. (WDEF) —  A Romanian citizen has admitted to making “swatting” calls to several American politicians, including Marjorie Taylor Greene.

He pleaded guilty in federal court on Monday to threatening dozens of people.

“Swatting” is the practice of making fake police calls against individuals just to make police respond.

The north Georgia Congresswoman has been the target of several swatting calls over the years.

The 26 year old suspect was extradited from Romania last fall to face charges in the U-S.

His sentencing is set to take place in October.
