Since when did wood become classified as a renewable resource? I thought of it as a fossil fuel as it is not perpetual like water power, wind or solar.

But for wood-> Wood chunks would you not need pieces of tree trunk not just branches? And for a good chunk of wood 3-5 years seems a bit thin.
Genuinely curious about this as non-irish (English language not 1st language) person as this resource would normally not be grouped together with those others in any category. So we had a debate among our international group chat already about this, with most finding it oddly phrased/categorized.
