Sedalia — The City of Sedalia is celebrating the grand opening of a new business. In what Pettis County Eastern Commissioner Israel Baeza calls a state-of-the-art facility, and the American Dream.

U.S. Quality Construction and Prime Builders Supply cut the ribbon on a joint facility on Menfee road in Sedalia.

Governor Mike Kehoe took time on a busy travel day to speak at the grand opening about how special a $10 million investment in this community is for the jobs it can provide and the commerce it creates.

“It’s a great region of our state; the economic development folks here do a great job making businesses attraction friendly and affordable. Love to see their expansion here their investment in Missouri, the number of Missourians they’re going to employ is really a great success story…”, Governor Kehoe stated.

Owners Vladimir Tutevich and Tim Kondratyuk say they work all across the state, but an investment in their hometown is most important.

“Pettis county is home. Sedalia is home. This is where we were raised, where we grew up, and it doesn’t make sense to build anywhere else.”, Kondratyuk said.

The Pettis County Chamber of Commerce says over 1,030 jobs have been added in the past seven years and this facility will certainly help further growth exponentially.
