  5. A British OAP has recently been arrested for smuggling meth in Chile. I wonder why he isn’t getting the same coverage…

  9. She changed her flight last minute from going via Singapore, so might have some brains this one. Though the last minute change alerted German police but a few months is better than potential life imprisonment

  11. She’s bloody lucky it’s arrested in Germany for smuggling from Thailand. Means she stands a change of being free at some point.

  12. Would appear from the news article to be self obsessed, high maintenance and displaying the intellectual agility of a butter dish. This should be character building for her, as the year’s in prison go by. Sad.

  14. Maybe we need to seriously look at legislation of cannabis rather than the backwards laws we have right now. Would stop this overnight

  21. As much as I think these people are morons I also think this is shitty indicator of how cost of living and other pressures facing young people lead to these decisions.

    £7 pints, poor wages, fake instagram lifestyles. Bitcoin “millionaires” living in their parents still and posting photos of hired Ferraris etc.

    I do think that they should serve their punishment in the country they get caught including the death penalty though but I actually feel sorry for them a tiny bit.

  26. They actually have representatives from the Foreign Office at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok warning travellers not to do this.

    There was two English guys handing out leaflets, telling passengers who were checking-in not to smuggle Weed.

    I suspect these girls are being approached by British nationals in places like Khao San Road and offered cash to take the weed back.

    Always seems to be the same profile who are caught.
