  1. >”… declining supply stability …”

Business understandably places great value on stability. You would think that the leadership of the United States would realize this simple fact and not risk being perceived as unstable or an unreliable partner.

  2. Trump supporters, tell me more about how shit like this is making America great.

  3. Aussie beef is pretty good. Not a bad replacement at all.

  4. -heavily rely on China for trade

-relentlessly shit on China and wage trade
     war on China

    -???

    -profit’nt

  5. Interesting side note. Beef prices are at an all time high yet there’s a surplus because of the boycott. Isn’t that supposed to bring down prices according to free market capitalism? The more you have the less it costs?

  6. Curious Canadian here. Is Australian beef grain-fed or corn-fed? I’m not a fan of US beef because it’s mostly corn-fed and tastes different to me.

  7. I didn’t even know you could buy American beef in China. I lived in Shanghai for a few years and everyone bought AUS beef. Sometimes Japanese beef for fancy dishes. No one wanted shitty USA beef.

  8. American beef’s about to be really cheap, and the idiots will celebrate until all the beef producers close and the price of beef rockets up again.

  9. So that means more supply at home. I look forward to higher prices at home. That’s how it works In merca. Remember when Canada stopped buying our pork, then prices went up?

  10. The thing that Trump and his followers don’t understand is that we need the rest of the world more than the rest of the world needs us.

  11. American farmers hate farming and hate America.

What are you going to do

  12. They also replaced Mexican Tacos, with an American One…

  13. Their waygu is fuggin awesome. I buy it here in Canada

  14. So beef prices gonna plummet right? I wouldn’t mind grabbing a few brisket packers on the cheap.

  15. To be fair, trade war or not, American food safety standards are so low, NO ONE should be eating food from the US. I say this as an American.

  16. I’m sure all the MAGA cattle farmers will appreciate the reduced income.

  17. VERY smart, I wouldn’t trust any food out of the US at this point.

  18. Us beef prices will go up to compensate for the loss and shareholders

  19. Asian countries often refuse to sell the lower quality American beef and advertise that they only sell Australian. That’s been the case for years

  20. Good.

The U.S. can get fucked. They’re hurting the world so the world needs to hurt them. That’s the only way we’ll see change.

  21. As an Aussie with friends and family that are cattle farmers, thanks Trumpy

  22. I think I heard Australian beef is healthier. Something about too much growth hormones in US beef. A US report only saying US beef was for adults and not children or elderly.

  23. Good, Aussie beef is genuinely good, love Chophouse.

  24. If history is any guide, even if and when tariffs are relaxed/removed, most of that trade won’t come back to the U.S.

  25. Now the oversupply should bring our beef prices down due to over supply.

    RIGHT. right?

  26. Never buy anything American policy is doing well for trumps and his goons.

  27. This is what you get when you hire American corporate executives to run policy. They spent their whole careers only thinking about what happens during their tenure and not caring about the future and they are using the same mindset when they set policy. No thought to the future. No strategic thinking beyond what makes them money/look good in the present. They are driving away trade that will take years to recoup, if it ever returns at all. Trading partners no longer trust us and the new trade partners they are replacing us with will have a huge advantage in the future.

Worst part? It isn’t even helping us in the present, much less the future. Great job, Drumph Administration!

While the rest of the world, especially China, Is thinking ahead 50-100 years ahead for the prosperity of their country and citizens, America can’t seem to plan past four damn years, and usually not even that!

  28. As an Australian that has worked in our meat industry, legitimately a good choice regardless of the current political climate.
    Very good meat products here.

  29. Speaking as an Australian – best president we ever had! Thanks Trump! Only man brave enough to shoot himself in the leg for our benefit lol what a joker

We’ll gobble up that brain drain too mmmmm yum, keep fleeing the US!

We love the uneducated American voter!
