It’s more so expensive houses lead to be expensive shops than the other way around.
I’m not sure supermarkets have a direct impact on property prices. More that places like Waitrose and Sainsbury’s are targeted at the higher end and will move into locations that are a bit more well off
I’d be quite happy with an Aldi near our town. They’ve been talking about it for over 10 years
Access to Parks and Cycle infrastructure will be a big driver in coming years.
For the moment, comparatively it would probably be independent coffee shops or something?….
Waitrose like to pretend they make and produce posh foods for rich people when in actual fact they buy from the same wholesalers as everyone else does.
UK Aldi’s are terrifying.
Is there a snobbery attached to shopping in Dunnes?
Dunnes is such a spectrum. Some can be really good, have a Sheridan’s section, fish monger, etc.. Even seen one do sushi. Then you can get one that hasn’t changed the floor tiles since the 90s and have light fixtures falling off the wall.
I’d rather be next to an Aldi than a Dunnes.
What’s so great about Waitrose?
Donnybrook Fair or Avoca for the 10% bump
Being anywhere near a pub. And now we know why everything is so expensive
