  1. Merz wasn’t even born yet, you world class orange moron.

  2. Kind of expected him to mention the war in some shape or form.

  3. That entire broadcast was hilarious.

Another one of Trump’s gems: “I don’t have friends, I have business partners. No, I really don’t have friends. (turns to Merz) You’re my friend.”

  4. I would ask him if he wanna grab a T.A.C.O. after work for that alone :>

  5. For Merz? Why? It was no pleasant day for the dying soldiers, yes. But for Merz? For me?

Does that orange face still not get that we don’t give a crap?

  6. What a weird thing to say. What an incredibly weird and tactless thing to say. Was that an attempt to put Friedrich off balance?

I doubt it, as TACO Don has always had a hard-on for the Nazis, much like his racist daddy. He just imagines nations as teams, that the world wars were merely championships since he has no sympathy, no comprehension of how others suffer.

  7. He’s so damn cringe and yet the media will act like this is totally normal while still complaining about Biden being out of it. The irony is lost on Americans. But the Musk/Trump spat could be good if you hate both.

  8. D-Day wasn’t a pleasant day for the Wehrmacht and the Nazi regime, but it was a very good day for the German people. A hope to get rid of the Nazis and to not (entirely) fall under the yoke of the Soviet Union.

The end of WW2 is celebrated in Germany as Liberation Day.

But maybe Trump isn’t aware that the German leadership has changed since WW2.

  9. He did it. He made Merz look good by comparison. That’s an achievement all on its own.

  10. He prolly wanted to say, Dienstag is not a very pleasant day, what is understandable

  11. I mean, the man himself wasn’t around yet.

As a statement of fact referring to Germans in general: Well, duh. Turns out, people generally don’t find being at the receiving end of an invasion pleasant. Honestly, the soldiers involved don’t find it pleasant no matter which side they’re on and on D-Day itself, it was mostly just the soldiers on both sides who were affected, so it’s probably fair to say that it wasn’t a pleasant day for the Americans, either.

  12. Trump is a comedic genius honestly. Endlessly entertaining, really.Sucks that he had to go into politics.

  13. Turns out war isn’t enjoyable for anyone involved. Who would have guessed.

  14. I‘m just happy they didn’t bully him!
BTW Merz replied good by pointing out it freed his motherland from the Nazi regime.

  15. I watched the press conference because normally I only read about Trump but hardly ever see how he acts. I’ve read that he has the onset of dementia and is unable to articulate a clear thought or respond to questions directly.
But I didn’t see anything about that in the press conference.
Of course there were some blatant lies (e.g. NordStream II was the biggest pipeline in the world and did he really say that World War 1 and 2 started in the Oval Office?)
But he answered all the questions, he knew what’s going on and he was absolutely able to speak clearly.

He didn’t give me the impression that he was suffering from dementia.

  16. Please you can keep Merz. He is a clown aswell. But well, compared to yours, our idiot is a real intellectual gem. Have fun former friends.

  17. Trump really is just an amalgamation of /r/ShitAmericansSay

  18. Shut the fuck up, Donald, you’re out of your element.

  19. didn’t know D-day was a “pleasent” day for anybody, the states lost 2500 troops so I’m not sure it’s the own Trump thinks it is.

  20. Two Nazis having a conversation. Why is anybody confused about weird outcomes?

  21. DON’T MENTION THE WAR!

*Trump starts aggressively goose-stepping and making a little finger moustache*

  22. You would think that this is part of some dark humor show on Saturday night television

  23. Germans should see it as a tragedy because their homeland was devastated through war.

  24. it was a pleasant day for anyone who is now glad there are no nazis in power anymore…
