  2. "decolonizing the mind" "A grain of wheat" two of his works that are etched in my heart forever after I read them. Literature was his only weapon and words his bullets. He wielded it so well he always hit the bullseye every time he released a new novel or article. Wa thiongo was towering figure in African literature, a trailblazer who, like Achebe and Soyinka fought hard to give African literature the place it deserves in world literature Thank you Sir thank you for inspiring and sowing seeds of self-love and greatness in the lives of young Africans all over the world. You are gone but your works are still here with us. May your soul rest in perfect peace.😢
