I love when people who post this stuff act like Merz was the one going in confident and in control of the room when Trump couldn’t give a shit less and Merz and the German government were desperately trying to make sure it went well.
Trump complains a lot and is immature but one thing he is very well aware of is the power dynamic between him and nearly every other leader, hence why Starmer wouldn’t even defend Canadian sovereignty in front of him.
