Some folk were debating what it’s like to live in a mobile home for various reasons. Heating one long term seems to be a huge problem.
They must be using a fuckton of heating if the two bills were €2,200 together.
No joke that is a big bill, but no mention of usage or how energy efficient the mobile home is, this could be a bigger cause of high prices than just the price of energy.
There’s not enough detail here. Anything could be happening.
Without providing their usage it’s a useless number.
Also they wouldn’t be able to get power directly to the mobile home, I’m presuming it’s coming Through their new house. Meaning that any power being used in the house would also be on that bill.
Did they think it would he cheap to heat a mobile home with energy inefficient electric heaters?
There’s hardly any insulation in mobile homes.
That’s why people use them during the Summer when its warmer.
That’s what you get for living in a can of sardines. You have to heat it almost constantly.
How’s this a story ?
Man who lives in uninsulated tin can gets shock when he gets bill for heating local area.
Sounds as if he used a lot of electricity.
I live in a three bedroom house and our bill was 350 and I knew it was too much as it was estimated, how the feck do you run up a bill like that in a mobile home unless heaters or whatever are going 24/7
For how long had they had estimated bills?
It’s a grow house!
Probably
Insulate instead of whining (and damaging planet)?
