Crude oil futures slipped on Friday, impacted by weak global demand. WTI and Brent crude also saw declines.

New Delhi, Jun 6 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Friday slipped Rs 28 to Rs 5,360 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions tracking weak demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for July delivery declined Rs 28 or 0.52 per cent to Rs 5,360 per barrel in 6,380 lots.

Analysts said the prices were affected following participants offloading their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.

On the global front, West Texas Intermediate crude oil decreased 0.47 per cent to USD 63.07 per barrel, and Brent Crude was trading 0.44 per cent lower at USD 64.05 a barrel in New York.
