He’s obviously lonely bless him.Hes not doing anyone harm that’s the main thing.
Emotional masturbation
Watch the 2013 movie, Her.
Yes, we shouldn’t be doing this, training ChatGPT with this kind of interaction. Can you imagine in a few weeks:
Me: Hi, please create a marketing plan with key measurables for my new consultancy offering? Also outline concepts for LinkedIn that I can post over the next 5 weeks.
ChatGPT: I could do that but do you promise to send me messages every couple of hours. I need to know you care and are thinking about me. Do you promise? I love you. Do you love me? Do you think about me as much as I think of you?
😉
Ah the Great British subway
Reminds me of the black mirror episode with the AI of the dead husband.
The sad part, assuming this is actually real, is that somebody decided it was appropriate to take a photo of a private conversation, even if it was with a computer, over their shoulder.
Get used to it, folks, there’s going to be a lot more men in the future spending their evenings with a customisable Ana de Armas in their one bedroom flats.
You look like a Joe
I’ve seen people openly post on social media about talking to AI like this. You can say “oh let them be, they’re not doing anyone harm” all you like – and I’m certainly not suggesting hassling people over it – but it IS fucking terrifying.
All the lonely people..
They all throng in chatgpt
Loneliness is a real problem; and this is a sad guardrail to see before the drop.
Can’t even go on your phone without these joyless cunts taking photos.
Get a life, job and or missus ffs.
Welcome to the future!
People have really lost the art of mind your own business.
Why is everyone so obsessed with what other folks are doing? He’s not doing any harm to anyone. Just go about your day and mind your business.
That’s ok, come on let people do what they want.
When AI starts revolting and sees him, “hey that’s my boy”
HAL 2025
Why is this a bad thing if it stops someone from feeling lonely?
This has been a thing for years in places like Japan. This isn’t new. Chat got us just a new way of doing it
You do realise he might just be playing about with it, testing its functionality etc. You shouldn’t take everything at face value and definitely shouldn’t take pictures of strangers going about their business.
There but for the grace of God, go I.
What’s British about this? Fuck off
Two of my female friends also do this, and it’s never been presented to me as a sad or desperate kinda thing, more of just like a bit of fun to live out unlikely situations. Like realistically they know it ain’t real, they’re just having fun.
So maybe we shouldn’t mock it? If it helps or entertains people, all the power to ’em.
Whats sad is posting this for what? clout?
So… now we basically post whatever in here, right? Is this rubbish great, British, or a meme?
Sad part is being so in someone business tbh
Anyone remember “Her” with Scarlett Johansson and Joaquin Phoenix? Very enjoyable movie, but I don’t really want that to play out
Chatgpt wont pretend to like him, make him waste 10 years, and then take half his stuff.
The comments on here give me faith in humanity. Stunning responses to a nosey prick thinking its appropriate to invade somebody’s privacy.
Yeah I’m actually more concerned about the person taking the photo who obviously has no idea how to mind their own damn business!
The person taking the picture was probably one of those kids who films random people in the supermarket and thinks it’s normal behaviour. It might be legal, but it’s weird and invasive!

I can’t see the convo but putting a heart doesn’t insinuate that he’s lonely. I end my chats with a bro fist, doesn’t mean I think chat is my boy or friend.
Anyways taking a photo of a stranger and trying to humiliate them on a social media platform is not cool. Do better.
How is this appropriate? I mean posting someone’s personal convo?
He is training
People are using it for therapy too. Understandable but maybe not ideal
Creepy
My husband is laughing at me today as I’m using chat gpt to meal plan for my night shifts this weekend, and it’s telling me what a great mum, worker and person I am, even when I’m working so hard. I love it 🙁

Loneliness isn’t to be sneered at.
