  1. This is what everyone’s dodgy uncle used to get them in the 2000s, used to always see people getting up during the film

  2. Better than the version I found Labias Potter and The Chamber of Squelch

  3. Haha my local off license at uni used to sell these in their secret back room. My barber also had a secret bag with them in. In the bag however there was another tied bag, that bag had the pornos in (he called them blues). He made sure I never went in that one as I was 15. Respect 😄

  4. I can literally smell that disc lmao

    Unforgettable plastic/printer smell

  5. Well i hope whoever obtained that DVD was able to resist a life of crime.

We were all told that pirating films was a gateway to stealing a handbag, then a car, then before you know it – one way ticket to organised crime with drugs and the Albanian mafia.

  6. I remember going to car boot sales and markets and there being tables of knockoff DVDs. Some new releases filmed from a seat or with Chinese subtitles. May well have been homemade by this time, websites could have all the covers available for download and even be the proper release. I remember doing it as I had no (easier) way of outputting my laptop to a proper TV.

  7. AHH bringing me back to my childhood, had a big cd case full of these from my dad’s mate ! 50p a go i think, good times,

  8. I use to have so much fun making these and printing the cover art 🥹

  9. Got plenty of these off Leicester market. The worst offender was Jurassic Park 3. Paid 4.99 for it, it wasn’t even in cinemas at the time. Printed case and disc, looked reasonably legit. But there were easy telltales on it. The quality was pretty good, but there was about 15 minutes worth of various scenes missing. Making some of it quite confusing.

  10. How do they manage to use the right apostrophe on Wizards’ but manage to mess up Hogwarts twice.

  11. Bloke at the boot fair had floppy disk for 50p a go

    All the latest Amiga games

  12. I like how they get Hogwarts right the first time, then randomly start putting an apostrophe before the S.

The pictures aren’t too glaringly *off* for someone not familiar with the original, but big-budget films usually hire someone with at least a basic grasp of English to proof-read the description.

  13. My dad’s entire DVD collection looked like this when I was a kid.

  14. That’s gotta be an ex-rental shop copy. Or someone wanted to see it without giving a certain someone money…

  15. lol my dad use to get these for me, or the DS SD cards loaded with loads of games 😂
