  1. They are beautiful!! I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t even know Puffins lived in Wales, as I thought they were only in exotic countries.. I want to visit now after seeing your photos. So lovely 🩷

  2. I. Love. Puffins.

I only recently learned Wales has them, which is one of many reasons I need to visit Wales.

  3. Puffins always look fake. Majestic and colourful (beaks) but they don’t look real to me.

  4. Gaah!

We’re in the area for our holiday later this year, and my wife always wanted to go there, so I just suggested it

She eagerly went online to book, and glumly informed me that as we’re going the end of August they’ll all have migrated by then.

Still, we’re booking to boat trip around the island to see what we can see!

  5. Great photos! Did you stay in the area? I’m heading over in July and haven’t yet booked any accommodation.

  6. I love the pictures with all the little fish, such a gorgeous predator!

  7. These are really cool, you’ve made some of them look like full art pokemon cards lol specifically no. 7 & 8 hahah

  8. Listening to zorba the greek is so fitting to this gallery

  9. Congratulations OP these are amazing photos! My dad went on a photography trip and he said they were tricky to photograph as they were so fast! Your photos are beautiful ☺️ they’re such lovely little birds! I’d love to go see them one day!

  10. Hi OP,

These are beautiful, there are a couple that I’d like to consider getting printed for framing – would you be open to providing high res versions for a fee?

  11. Love the pics. My mission this summer is to snap some Firth of Forth puffins.

  12. Went to that bit of Pembrokeshire as a kid and saw a Chough, but we didn’t take the boat over to Skomer & Skokholm.

Those are great shots, love puffins. Or porgs, if you will.

  13. Just noticed there’s a place on Skomer called Shag Hole Bay, which I found hilarious, at 58 it seems I’m still a big kid.

  14. Glad you clarified, I thought you meant Skomer, North Korea for a second

  15. They’re so amazingly tame, and so are the rabbits. Since time immemorial (for them) humans have posed no threat so you can get within inches of them and they don’t care at all.
