Meghan Markle is set to be celebrated at a glamorous Los Angeles event that coincides with King Charles’ official celebration, Trooping the Colour, on June 14.
The Duchess of Sussex will be honoured during the Night of Wonder Gala, hosted by the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County, reported GB News.
The event recognises her contributions to community wellbeing and her efforts to promote equity and opportunity.
‘We are proud to honour Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, a native Angeleno, whose work to advance community wellbeing and expand opportunity aligns with our equity-focused approach,’ Lori Bettison-Varga, the President and Director of the natural History Museums of Los Angeles County, said.
The star-studded event is being organised by several high-profile names, including Meghan’s longtime friend and business associate, Rick Genow.
The film producer, along with his wife Mary Fulginiti-Genow, is listed as one of the co-stars of the gala. Genow has long been part of Meghan’s inner circle and remains a trusted ally since her transition from royal life to her new role in the Hollywood spotlight.
Since relocating to California with Prince Harry and their two children in 2020, the 43-year-old Duchess has been gradually raising her public profile through select appearances at high-profile events across Los Angeles.
It remains unclear whether Prince Harry will accompany her to the black-tie affair
