Best Airlines in Europe

  1. Which band of drunk (…or bought) idiots has composed this list? Lufthansa on third, that high up… please. Pretty funny tho.

  2. The best airlines are the ones that allow me fly Vilnius – London round trip for 80 euros, which are Wizz Air, LOT, and Ryanair.

  3. I flew between the UK and Greece on the former ‘Olympic Airlines’ many times a year in the late 1980s and early 1990s. (It might have still been called ‘Olympic Airways’ then.)

I recall that the seats on one side of the plane were ‘non-smoking’. Passengers were allowed to smoke in the seats on the other side of the plane, just separated from the non-smokers by the narrow aisle.

I also remember how Greek passengers would clap and cheer each time we landed safely.

    Good times.

  4. I highly disagree that KLM is fifth. Their business class seat is ridiculously small and tiny considering the average size of a dutch person. Also their service is always not more than average.

  5. I think the rating is more for long-haul flights. Inside of Europe all these companies are so bad you can literally throw extra 50eur at Ryanair and get experience similar to business class in any of them.

As an added free bonus most Ryanair airport are so small it takes minutes from the airplane to the airport exit, I think my record time in Rome Ciampino was like 3 minutes
