   Now that’s an understatement! Not only is there zero evidence of an actual emergency, but the exact opposite is/was the case. Under Biden the US achieved record oil and gas production, record energy exports, record renewable energy production and was adding new wind and solar capacity at a record pace. It was also revitalizing the manufacturing sector to produce modern energy technologies domestically rather than importing them from China.

   Trump is deliberately wrecking all of his predecessor’s massive energy accomplishments and quite likely creating a real national energy emergency in the process.

5. The “emergency” rhetoric is coming from utilities who want to over- build with no regulatory check. The regulators have bought in.
