In a few months we’ll see wire guided drones with hedgeclippers going in circles after other wire guided drones. Modern problems need… bronze age solutions.
Rock, Scissor, FPV Drones
I will admit that I am biased against Russians, but this honestly seems fake.
Why was the drone hovering along the ground right in front of them, and then suddenly it decided to climb up higher once it passed them?
You also have to be pretty lucky to have a drone pass by just 5 feet in front of you.
I call BS, seems pretty staged to me.
Holy crap I remember making a joke about someone doing this when fibre optics were first seen but I never thought I’d see a video of someone actually pulling it off…
Way cheaper than RF jamming.
At least they had safety scissors so it would be safe to run with them.
This is terminator shit. God, war is getting even more terrifying
They were very lucky. You have to avoid getting spotted (difficult esp with thermal drones) and be close enough along the FPV drone path before it reaches it’s target and detonates.

Oh great now all the annoying people who thought fiber optic drones were ‘obviously a dumb idea’ will feel validated
No guns
scissors company
Can someone explain to me how this works because I haven’t seen this before. Is the drone connected to that cable? How does it fly off and hit its target if so?
I was half-expecting them to run towards the drone after cutting the line, but they held back. They’re learning!
Time to start flying them in pairs. Wingman drones.
FIY no need for scissors to cut it – a good stomp with a boot will mess it up enough to cut the signal.
Damn, it’s the first time I can really hear how much destruction the payload of those FPV drones carry have.
The sound of these drones is haunting
Band of human insurgents holding out in the forest against KillGPT drones following order 67 for the total extermination of humans.
I wonder if on such drones ukraine put as emergency control and antennas too. That even if the cable failed, you would be able to control the drone, although not so well.
Next time a drone with a failsafe remote device
Guess we’re going to see cheap decoy drones pulling a wire, and then a follower drone swooping in on the guy cutting the link.

Impressive stuff
Uncuttable wire…you’re up!
