Europe’s space sector seeks to boost commercialisation

  1. Europe badly needs reusable rocket tech; it is 100% the future. ESA should be on this job like white on rice.

  2. All we have to do is look across the Atlantic to see numerous companies all developing reusable rockets. How many have we got in Europe? We have Ariane 6, an improvement on 5 for sure but ultimately a generation behind a company like SpaceX. When starship comes online it will be able to lift heavier loads and a fraction of the cost of Ariane, if you needed something in space who would you go for?

Europe does not have the drive for innovation and will continue to lag behind. Arianespace says they have plans for a reusable launch system but that’s at least a decade or two away.
