  1. Neighbours are waiting for their eldest to get home from work, he recently started a hotel events bar job and he always bangs about when he gets back from a late shift (he always slams his car door) and it wakes me up so i may as well stay up a bit longer.
    Made a whole 1p chatting to a friend on TikTok live earlier, does that make me an influencer?

  2. Having a few drinks after busy day out and about with family. Now relaxing and catching up on the Simpson vs Zucco fight. No spoilers please.

  3. 2nd of 12 days off work and ended up at a room escape thing. Basically one hour locked in a room wondering when you can get out to pee.

    Then headed back to the sisters for some mario kart which is about 3 miles from where I live and attempted the walk home after a fair few drinks. Brambles. Decided against the road route in favor of the direct route and I’m just cut to fuck.

    Now onto online chess and I can barely see. I’m squinting.

  4. Car hunting is stressful. Trying to work out what I can afford and whether it’s actually decent is pretty difficult.

    Think I’m going for a fairly new VW golf but there not cheap…

  5. Today i fussed neighbourhood kitten and a cat of someone i know.

    Backpack is comfortable and pretty rain proof dont think it would handle a deluge then again nothing stops a deluge.

    In other news i refuse to wear a bra til Tuesday because i can so i am ha.

  7. Doing the night shift. It was absolutely pissing down while I walked to work, and Skechers, although very comfortable, are not at all waterproof, so I’ve got wet feet. Fun times.

  8. I’ve decided to restart Zelda TOTK, so I’m happily running around on a sky island collecting mushrooms. I’ve realised my taste in games is basically ‘run around in a big beautiful space gathering things’.

    Went to see the new Final Destination film earlier, I giggled through most of it so I think that was a success. The MRI scene is the best.

  9. Been making a blackcurrant pie with my first decent fruit harvest of the year from the allotment. First attempt the pastry was too dry so I had to wet it and try again. Pleased with it as I don’t make pastry very often. Going to my parent’s tomorrow so am going to surprise them with it. My diabetic dad will have to up his insulin lol.

  10. Watched a 1913 sci fi film (loved it) first thing. Went to see the granddaughter today. She was spectacularly cute (she’s 1). Came back got a Maccys, fixed the dimmer switch, then annoyed stepson’s friend by denying him dry roasted peanuts, and drank so beer.

    All in all a pretty good day.

  11. A better day. I didn’t get up until like 1pm. Had bbq chicken in pita bread for lunch with some cheese and onion which was very nice. 

    I then asked my sister what I should bake to which she said blueberry muffins. I had to go get some blueberries so went to M&S. I found some trainers I liked (yay…) but they only had my size in the white but I wanted the grey ones. Obviously can’t stock check any other stores, or buy online at the moment. I was going to nip into Altrincham store tomorrow (and maybe Trafford Centre one if needed) to see if they had any. 

    However I will not be going to Altrincham tomorrow as it stands. So maybe I will try another localish store instead. 

    To be honest I probably need to go to Go Outdoors and get some proper walking ones, if I’m going to be doing the whole Highlands thing again in a few weeks…
