There’s a big uptick in weird and fucked-up stuff happening since the pandemic, and especially now with things opening up again proper. I’ve been hoping it’s just a temporary thing, damage/cracks in society from the social/economic effects of the pandemic, that ease as things get back to some kind of ‘normal’ – but it’s starting to feel like it’s not going to be temporary, that the damage is done and there are more fucked-up/psychopathic people out there, and that this kind of thing is going to be happening more.
People should probably be more on-guard in general for a while, and see how much fucked-up stuff like this and other weird stuff there is, in e.g. a year from now, before treating things as fully ‘normal’ again.
