16. I take it the strike referred to is the one where one Iskander launcher at the edge of a treeline blew up spectacularly, and another two hidden in trees appeared to be burning and were reported as destroyed.

    I wonder if it’s normal for a Russian officer as senior as the lieutenant colonel brigade commander to be with the launchers when deployed for firing. I would have thought this slob would be lounging around in a comfortable command centre many tens of kilometres away from the firing positions and bellowing orders over the radio at lieutenants who were in charge of the launchers.
