This week, Canada’s Wonderland installed the last piece of track on AlpenFury – the country’s longest, tallest and fastest LAUNCH coaster.

Up next comes an extensive testing and commissioning phase where we’ll run the trains hundreds of times, train our ride operators and get signoff from the TSSA.

Guests may see those trains running early next week.

AlpenFury will be the park’s 18th roller coaster, will feature a launch into Wonder Mountain and a second one that shoots guests straight vertical, 50m out the mountain’s summit.

Then they’ll barrel through nine inversions – the most for any launch coaster in the world.

AlpenFury is expected to open in a couple of weeks.
