12. as Ukrainian, thank you for sharing, and I thank your coworker and admire her for doing this. It means a lot.

13. She used to have a contact in Ukraine. A soldier she knew as roman. He died in a drone attack at the end of February. He used to send photos and videos back for her.

    His last message to her:

    – bottom row, 2nd from the right spells “Kasper” which is homage to Casper the friendly ghost.
    – middle finger next to the Casper one, has a fantastic cossack moustache and haircut.
    – Daffy Duck one says “war ducks”
    – few ones with ЗСУ (ZSU) which is the name of [Armed Forces of Ukraine](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armed_Forces_of_Ukraine)
    – 2nd row from the bottom, middle one with the warship is a stamp issued to commemorate the famous saying “[Russian warship, go fuck yourself](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_warship,_go_fuck_yourself#Commemorative_stamps)” from the first days of the 2022 conflict.
    – the yin-yang black-red flag is a [Ukrainian Insurgent Army flag](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_the_Ukrainian_Insurgent_Army) which is co-opted by far right to straight up fascist organizations in Ukraine, so be mindful of that one.
