RBC Canadian Open recap: Ryan Fox wins second PGA Tour title in tense playoff

Ryan Fox has claimed his second PGA Tour win of 2025 with a tense playoff victory over Sam Burns to lift the Canadian Open trophy.

Fox struck a stunning second shot on the par-five 18th to find the green and then two-putted for birdie and the victory on the fourth
playoff hole.

The Kiwi takes home $2.92 million and earns a spot at next week’s US Open as well as next year’s Masters.

Fox birdied the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Burns after the American carded 62 in the final round to hold the clubhouse lead for two hours.
