  7. As an American I am very confused about all this talk about the UK legalizing assisted suicide. I thought that if people in the UK wanted to kill themselves they just moved to a small village in the Cotswolds and let nature take its’ course.

  10. Someone on our street has this exact sign and of a very similar ages (wear and tear wise). I had to do a double take because I thought it was the same house.

    Must have been a boomer craze for these a few years back.

  24. I lived in the USA for many years. These signs were a relatively common sight. They were typically sold in novelty shops as a kind of joke.

    I don’t miss American humour very much.
