On Tuesday, it will rain in all regions, but the sun will also shine frequently, while on Wednesday, the rain will be more prolonged, especially in the eastern part of the country. The air temperature on Tuesday will be 14-19 C, but on Wednesday it will be cooler, 12-17 C.
On Thursday, there may still be some rain in eastern Latvia, but the weather will be mostly sunny and dry thereafter. On Thursday, the air temperature in most of Latvia will still be below 20 degrees, but it will get warmer at the end of the week, with temperatures reaching 20 to 25 C on Saturday afternoon, a few degrees cooler in some coastal areas.
Due to prolonged rainy weather in eastern Latvia, a warning about high water levels in rivers remains in effect. Water is also accumulating in the fields, and gardens are waterlogged. The situation could begin to improve at the end of the week when the precipitation subsides.
