Musk calls Trump mega-bill ‘disgusting abomination’ • FRANCE 24 English

well it’s no real surprise that uh this has happened We’ve seen uh various tensions between the two They tried to play happy families as Musk exited the White House last week but he has been a staunch opponent of this We found that out on a uh on just recently on Sunday actually And in an interview with CBS News well now this though is his most uh daring tweet about this big beautiful bill as Donald Trump calls it Musk tweeting “I’m sorry but I just can’t stand it anymore.” This massive outrageous pork- fililled congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination Shame on those who voted for it You know you did wrong You know it Now he also doubled down on this in the hours that followed He then tweeted “In November next year i.e the midterms we fire all politicians who betrayed the American people Congress is making America bankrupt.” Now the White House press secretary Caroline Levit was asked about this at the press briefing uh today Now she said “Look the president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this bill It doesn’t change the president’s opinion This is one big beautiful bill and he’s sticking to it.” Well indeed the White House is standing by that bill saying it will reduce government spending But the man they put in charge of uh cutting government spending Elon Musk clearly disagrees Now agreeing with Neil Musk on that is the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office who says that the package would increase the deficit by 2.3 trillion dollars over the course of the next decade Caroline however slammed that office as a partisan organization Now this bill effectively extends Donald Trump’s 2017 tax cuts and also contains new spending for border security and the military whilst cutting food stamps energy credits and state paid healthcare for for the elderly as well Mike Johnson the person who’s in charge of being of getting this through the House now through the Senate and potentially having to go back through the House again said “With all due respect my friend Elon is terribly wrong about this one big beautiful bill.” So disagreements there between the Republican faithful and Elon Musk

Days after leaving his role as a political adviser to US President Donald Trump, tech magnate Elon Musk delivered his most outspoken critique of the Trump administration on Tuesday when he called the budget bill Trump is pressuring senators to push through Congress a “disgusting abomination.” France 24 correspondent Fraser Jackson reports from Washington, D.C., to provide details on what pushed Musk to break from the administration he paid nearly $300 million to have elected.

  1. Elon Musk is only one who really love US and wanna save US from Bankrupt. Trump is fake lying guy , He really don’t care about US future, only cares about his enormous unnecessary spendings.
