The Park City Police Department received several wildlife-related reports recently.
One of the cases, logged at 4:42 p.m. on Friday, involved a fawn on American Saddler Drive that was described as “not doing so good.” The animal was breathing but not standing, the police were told. It was on or close to a driveway.
The police earlier that morning, at 7:56 a.m., received a report of a turkey “walking down the road” in the area of the busy intersection of Kearns Boulevard and Bonanza Drive. The police said the bird created a traffic hazard. The report continued a series of sightings of turkeys in Park City recently.
There were other wildlife-related reports that did not list a species. They included cases on June 2 on Snow Creek Drive, June 5 in the area of the intersection of Kearns Boulevard and Sidewinder Drive and June 6 on American Saddler Drive.
