Family pay heartbreaking tribute after ‘smiley’ boy, 14, stabbed to death

1. The heartbroken family of a teenager who died after being stabbed to death in New Moston on Sunday night have paid tribute to their ‘smiley, caring and hardworking’ son.

   Ibrahima Seck, aged 14, was rushed to hospital but tragically died from his injuries. He had been stabbed outside the Fairway Inn, on Broadway, New Moston, before running while severely injured to nearby Nevin Road, where neighbours rushed to his aid.

   Detectives launched a murder investigation and remained attendance outside the pub on Monday conducting investigations.

2. It’s strange that this is the first I’ve heard of this. It wasn’t too long ago when this would have made national news.
