Clean energy is generating hundreds of thousands of U.S. jobs. So why are Republicans undermining it?

1. The old guard is still in power. Connections to leaders of oil production. If money continues to flow in, why change?

2. Because the oil companies paid Trump to do so.

3. Because the gazillionaires who shifted the balance of power in favor of the GOP get their money from fossil fuels.

   They don’t care about workers, they care about their own wealth and power

4. Because the oil industry paid them off with half a billion dollars…. it’s not really a hidden secret.

5. Because republicans’ goal is quite clearly to divide, isolate, and weaken the United States. Judge them by the fruit of their “policies” to the extent they have any policies other than sowing hatred and chaos.

8. Because they made a deal with the oil companies. You might recall Taco met with the oil companies at Maralago before the election in a deal that exchanged campaign funds for political favors.
