Smart and educated people are difficult to control, so it’s better for Russia if the remaining population is more gullible and/or obedient. That’s why Russia doesn’t really have a huge problem with this type of migration. However, it’s also a bit of a gamble, because the people who remain probably aren’t as capable or skilled.
Of course we are. Even if Western companies weren’t leaving Russia, I don’t want my taxes to go to Putin’s war, I’d rather send them the other side.
