  1. Very sad when I see people on this sub saying “they deserved it for being so stupid” or something to that effect. They don’t have the world knowledge or education, they were tricked and put in an impossible position.

Anyway, for clarity the guy in the picture of your post was in Russia on a student visa, he wasn’t the guy hired to make shampoo. A bit misleading but I understand that was not the intention. So they are even going after people in Russia *on any type of visa* and I would imagine offer them money (that they’ll never get) to join the services, or also quite likely is if you refuse their offer, they will just force you to join since they call the shots if you get the leave the country or not.

  2. They do have internet access in Africa……it is not an unexplored, untamed wilderness

  3. I mean, they’ve lied to their own people for 11 years, saying they’re fighting Neo-nazism (hypocrisy), saying Ukraine is an instrument of the West (mourning Yanukovyc), saying NATO is expanding so it needs to expand. The list of lies to justify illegal land grabbing by terror goes on. Therefore this is not surprising in the slightest.

  4. Uneducated people get tricked into alot of stupid shit. That’s why education is important.

  5. Africa I think can do a better job in informing their people of russias BS. I understand being poor and desperate is the reason but if they were really informed of what russia will do to them they would be chased out in Africa.

  6. Ironically, the UKR drones will be aimed directly at their Head and Shoulders.

  7. I knew this would happen sooner or later. Russian colonialism didn’t affect Africa primarily because they were geographically restricted (and thus had to inflict their imperialist-colonial fantasies on their immediate neighbours), not because they were less likely to be racist than European colonialists. The main difference today is that while Europe has dealt with the root causes more or less successfully depending on the particular issue and country, Russia hasn’t even began to attempt to deal with their deep cultural racism. But they’ve been given a pass and now the people of many African nations will get to pay the price with their bodies and their lives.

  8. They are facing tough combat conditioners at the front line.

  9. On one hand, it wouldn’t be beyond russia to shamelessly exploit people from the poorest regions on earth. On the other hand those guys could’ve known exactly what they’re doing and come up with some bs story to get sympathy from their capturers. Could’ve also been directly recruited by Wagner in Africa.
In war, truth is the first victim.

  10. It’s weird seeing how the Russians seem to absolutely hate Black people ( from that weird Russki propaganda show, about a Russian family going to America on the plane), but are sending them en masse to the frontlines

  11. At least his hair is well conditioned, clean and baby-soft,so all is not lost…..

  12. I don’t know how much I believe these stories. These are dirt poor men from African countries, many with close historic allegiances and links to Russia/USSR, being offered life changing sums of money to join the Russian war effort. Of course they’re gonna minimise their role when captured and say they knew nothing, thought they were going to work in a factory and got duped, but I suspect most of these guys knew exactly what they were signing up for and couldn’t resist taking the bet.
