Osmani offers condolences for the attack in Austria: We stand with the Austrian people during this painful time

President Vjosa Osmani has offered her condolences to the Austrian people for the victims of today’s shooting at a school in Graz, Austria, where 10 people were killed, including the suspect.
Osmani said that Kosovo stands with Austria in this painful time, while wishing a full recovery to those injured in these shootings.
“Today’s horrific attack on a school in Graz, Austria is devastating. Schools should be places where children dream, learn and grow, not places of violence and terror. Our thoughts are with the families who lost their loved ones so early and we stand with the people of Austria during this painful time. We pray for a full recovery for the injured and healing in the days to come,” Osmani wrote in X.
The shooting took place at the Dreierschützengasse high school in Austria’s second-largest city at around 10:00 local time.
Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker called the shooting a “national tragedy” and said there were no words for the pain and grief the country was feeling./Express/
