There is no ‘national energy emergency.’ Trump just wants you to think there is. In an apparent abuse of power, Trump is bypassing institutional safeguards to loosen restrictions on oil and gas production. He is using emergency provisions to subvert checks on executive actions.

If there was an energy emergency, they wouldn’t be blocking renewables and cutting out subsidies.
If the article doesn’t speak to the demands of electrifying the automotive industry and the growing demands of AI on our aging energy infrastructure, it’s not providing an accurate analysis.
Rig counts are down. The American oil industry does not trust the orange salamander. There is no drill baby drill. They bet a lot of money on the wrong horse. Fafo
The emergency is having this Orange POS in the White House
Anyone noticing the shit ton of energy company ads showing up on social media? Promising unrealistic ROIs of like 9-13% on your investment? And of course I see the comments section and it is full of MAGA cultists. What a joke.
One of the many hypocrisies from this administration is declaring an energy emergency but only to promote fossil fuel production while stopping nonrenewable energy projects. If it were a true emergency (it’s not) there would be a need fast track every energy project regardless of its source.
