  1. When Ireland is mentioned on TV and your parent chimes in with “Ireland!” In that sing songy proud tone

  2. This is me watching the various Gundam series. Ireland/ Irish names come up a lot, and Ireland even gets smashed by a space colony once.

  3. There are the lads who scoured popular posts on Reddit and repost them here because there is the smallest connection to ireland.

Here’s a fight in a New Orleans pub on /r/publicfreakout. Look lads, a sign for Guinness.

Here’s a picture of the Cliffs of Moher from /r/earthporn. Better crossover it to /r/Ireland along with the dozen or so other posts

This lad wore his GAA jersey on holiday abroad. Better let this sub know some lads from Ireland go on holidays

  4. That’s the first time I’ve seen this exact same meme. No really, it really is. First time ever it’s been posted. Never before posted meme here check it out.

  5. I can’t find the clip but once on Superman and Lois back in the nineties, there was an Irish villian from Balbriggan.

The best I can find is this brilliant synopsis of the episode [here:](https://vhistory.wordpress.com/2017/07/04/the-new-adventures-of-superman-court-tv-tape-2144/)

    > The villain is an old boyfriend of Lois’ with a rather unconvincing Oirish accent. He’s called Patrick Sullivan, probably because the writer couldn’t spell Padraig.
He has a Lois Lane Shrine which is never a signifier of a good life partner.
He tells Lois of his home town of Balbriggan in Ireland. “On a clear day you can see England”. More likely it’s Wales you can see, as Holyhead is a lot closer.
