Kyiv and Odesa hit in deadly Russian drone attacks on Ukraine • FRANCE 24 English

as parts of Kiev woke up to a sky clouded with black smoke helicopters doused the flames still raging both residential and non-residential areas were hit by drone strikes in the night to Tuesday fragments of which were visible in the garden of this apartment building i was lying in bed as always hoping that these shaheds would fly past me and I heard the shahed that hit the apartment i’m sad but on the other hand it’s good that everyone is safe both my girlfriend and I in total Moscow launched more than 300 drones and seven missiles at Ukraine overnight including two North Korean-made ballistic missiles according to Vadimir Zalinski the strikes also hit a maternity hospital in the southern port city of Adessa though local authorities said patients and staff were safely evacuated however there were deadly attacks on residential buildings in the city unfortunately there was a lot of damage tonight the enemy is not reducing the number of attacks only increasing on social media Zalinski said the strikes drowned out efforts of Ukraine’s allies to force Russia into peace it is vital that the response to this and other similar Russian attacks is not silence from the world but concrete action action from America which has the power to force Russia into peace action from Europe which has no alternative but to be strong the waring sides have recently returned to direct talks for the first time in more than three years but outside an agreement on the exchange of prisoners of war there’s been no tangible progress moscow has stepped up its attacks on Ukraine following KF strikes on strategic bombers at air bases inside Russia on June 1st

Russia launched more than 300 drones on Ukraine overnight, killing at least two people according to local officials. The strikes, which damaged parts of the capital and hit a maternity ward in Odesa, followed on from Moscow’s biggest drone assault on its neighbour on Monday. The Kremlin says it’s in response to Kyiv’s brazen attacks in Russia.

  5. Zelensky should have kicked out Boris Johnson from the April 2022 Peace Deal…so much Ukrainian lives would not have been lost in vain and so much of Ukrainian territory would not have been needlessly lost.

  16. Western backed forces most of the time if not always use civilian area for military purpose and if striked , civilian area hited bla bla bla . Why Ukraine use apartments for military purpose?

  17. In the Russian Federation, only a constant striving for perfection and idealism, working on it, can help. Only this can help to make things generally good and better. In this country there is too much of poor quality and… Such hopelessness. This is also reflected in the number of suicides in the Russian Federation. A healthy president, a healthy government, Kremlin employees who are healthy in their thinking, and also healthy ordinary Russians, less alcohol, less theft… But there is what there is. In the Russian Federation, it works like a collapsing domino. This war could not have happened at all, if it has to happen, at least limit the number of Russian soldiers killed, and if you add a cripple without arms, legs, with mental illnesses after the war, and in a huge number. Only improving yourself and provoking others to do so can help you. I do not want to claim that in the USA, Western Europe everything is only exemplary. But life can be better, this is exactly what is shown in the number of suicides. Personally, if I were a Russian and lived in the Russian Federation, I would apply for a foreign visa and then ask for citizenship and permanent living in another part of the world. Because if a Russian policeman has to hurt me for nothing and there are 100,000 problems, then why live in this country. Best regards!
