  22. People love to bitch about Newsom, but when he’s in attack mode he’s one of the strongest voices in the nation imo. Yeah, he’s got some bad stances, but when he’s right, he’s REALLY right and he fucking hammers his points home. The guy always comes prepared when he’s ready to pick a fight, and I’m really glad we have him in moments like this when we need someone with teeth and intelligence to get angry for us.

  24. I was impressed–thank you Governor Newsom. Now, perhaps some of the other 22 sitting governors who are members of the democratic party, perhaps along with some other sensible and patriotic leaders, will also speak out against the tyranny we are all witnessing.

  25. 4 years ago trump staged a coup to try to end American democracy.

    When that failed he ran for re-election on the promise to rule as a dictator.

    He has openly expressed admiration for dictators his entire life.

    Anyone paying attention has known that trump is turning America into a dictatorship long before Newsom said it.

    The 31% of eligible voters who turned out in 2024 to try to stop trump knew it.
