The 18th major Jubilee event of the year—the Jubilee of the Holy See—was celebrated in Rome, honoring the work and ministry of those serving at the Vatican. Pope Leo led a procession through the Holy Door as an ordinary pilgrim and celebrated Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica. The celebration featured a meditation by Sr. Maria Gloria Riva on the Eucharist as a viaticum of hope and unity. In his homily, the Holy Father reflected on the Marian and Petrine foundations of the Church, reminding them of their beautiful coexistence and thanking Roman Curia employees and officials for their faithful witness, while reminding them that true fruitfulness comes through the Cross of Christ.
