(WJAR) — Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed will question Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent as part of a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on Wednesday.
The hearing comes with the backdrop of the Trump administration inserting itself in protests in Los Angeles and resulted with military units on the ground.
Also at the hearing will be Treasury Secretary Bessent on the President’s Fiscal Year 2025 budget.
Reed is expected to question both on the Trump’s policies.
