  1. So many concepts are being tested real time. This is pretty cool.

  2. That’s sick. Is there a ramp that can drop for troops who maybe don’t have the strength to climb in?

  3. i was thinking, dont drop a granade please, killing wounded is wrong. if they no longer pose a threat. he was smart not to have any weapons on his person, they would drop a bomb on him then.

  4. I’m a little confused. This looks slow, exposed, and very visible.

Why is this better than sending a faster and more armored IFV/APC ? Is that because they don’t have enough armored vehicles ? Ground conditions ?

  5. We are so close to judgement day…..that being said that is fucking incredible and I’m glad he made it out of there.

Edit: and by judgement day I’m refering to the whole Skynet fiasco

  6. I know we shouldn’t really expect Russia to abide by the rules of war seeing as they haven’t whatsoever up to this point. But if it’s sole purpose is removing wounded troops from the battlefield, why not put the red cross on it so that it receives protected status?

  7. I would not be surprised to eventually see the wounded picked up by drone aircraft.

  8. I wonder if these are used to launch drones from closer to the front?

Rig these up to spool out fiber optic for control from 20 miles back in friendly territory, right up to the line. From that point launch fiber optic controlled drones.

That way, the drone control crew can be in a bunker far from the front.

  9. We need more of this footage

Honestly? Ukraine should use these to take Russian wounded and prisoners in. Huge narrative win and incentivizes people to surrender even to drones.

  10. Pretty sure I foretold the future playing with army men and Tonka trucks in my sand box growing up. Now all you need is a transformer or tmnt guy to blow that up too.

  11. A classic example of how war speeds up technological advancement and how modern day problems call for modern day solutions. The best ones are often the ones we sigh at and say ”why didn’t we think of that before”.

  12. Now this is amazing. How much relief he must have felt finally being carted to safety after probably making peace with his doom in that field.
    I hate this war.

  13. An alternative would just be a low to the ground platform, a stretcher with some wheels so heavily injured soldiers can almost roll onto it instead of climbing, maybe a bit concave or something like a seatbelt to ensure they won’t fall off.
